The article discusses the importance of integrating the teaching of human anatomy and Ukrainian studies for the quality training of future medical professionals. Anatomy is a fundamental discipline, the knowledge of which is necessary for understanding the structure of the human body and further medical practice. At the same time, proper command of the professional Ukrainian language, including anatomical terminology, is an equally important aspect of a doctor's professional competence. The article emphasises the role of the human anatomy departments and Ukrainian studies and humanities in developing students' professional, linguistic and cultural competences. The authors focus on the problems associated with using and compiling anatomical nomenclature in Ukrainian, particularly the need for professional language editing and accentuation. The use of anatomical terms in Ukrainian language classes allows us to combine linguistic aspects, expand students' vocabulary, and enrich the cultural context. The use of modern teaching methods, such as modular and project-based learning and immersive technologies (VR and AR), contribute to better learning in practical classes. Thus, integrating the educational process will help improve the level of professional training of future doctors, form their national consciousness, and develop interdisciplinary thinking. Knowledge of anatomical nomenclature combined with an understanding of its connection with Ukrainian culture and language will improve communication with patients and promote a deeper understanding of national traditions in medicine.
