Prostate cancer (PC) remains a serious medical problem nowadays. Unsolved issues include early diagnosis of PC and choosing the right treatment tactics. Purpose: to assess the level of markers of the tumour process in patients with prostate cancer and determine their influence on the course of the disease. A retrospective analysis of 1,587 patients with PC who were in the National Cancer Institute (Kyiv) was conducted. The indicators of CT and MRI results, instrumental and morphological examination methods, and the level of PSA, TS, LT, ISF1, APP, AP and GH markers were analyzed. A prostate gland biopsy was performed with a pathomorphological examination of the tumour tissue. Results: in 46.2% of patients, an increase in the level of TS in blood serum was established in all patients - PSA, in 65.1% - ISF1, in 99.5% - APP, in 99% - AP and in 76.4% - GH. In the case of PC, the integrated state of markers of the tumour process was influenced by the indicators of pT (WR=2.35; p<0.001), pN (WR=3.30; p<0.001), M (WR=4.95; p<0.001), prevalence (TNM) (WR=2.35; p<0.001) and primary tumour size (according to ultrasound) (WR=4.22; p<0.001), GS (WR=1.92; p<0.001), tumour localization in the peripheral zone (WR=3.13; p<0.001), STT (WR=3.50; p<0.001), GDT (WR=1.75; p<0.001), the presence of metastases in the lymph nodes (WR=2 .38; p<0.001), distant organs (WR=2.33; p<0.001) and bones of the skeleton (WR=2.42; p<0.001), as well as the presence of macrohematuria (WR=2.85; p=0.008 ), comorbid renal clear cell carcinoma (WR=2.69; p=0.011) and breast adenocarcinoma (WR=2.50; p=0.001). Conclusions: effective markers of the tumour process, AP and APP activity parameters for the PC screening have prognostic significance and can be criteria for the effectiveness of treatment.
