Stress factors associated with forced displacement, loss of housing, feelings of uncertainty, and constant danger significantly affect dietary habits, oral hygiene behavior, and individuals’ attitudes toward their own health. Current research demonstrates an increase in stress-associated dental disorders, including bruxism, gingivitis, heightened dentin sensitivity, deterioration of oral hygiene practices, and abnormalities of occlusion. The aim of this study was to examine the impact of wartime stressors on emotional state, behavioral responses, oral hygiene habits, and the overall level of dental health among the population of Ukraine. The results indicate that, despite challenging conditions, most respondents maintained stable oral hygiene routines, which reflects the formation of a solid dental hygiene culture. The majority of participants brush their teeth two to three times daily, adhere to the recommended duration of brushing (2–3 minutes), and more than 75% additionally use supplementary hygiene products (dental floss, mouth rinses, interdental brushes). This level of awareness may be interpreted as a positive outcome of prior preventive and educational initiatives in dentistry. At the same time, more than half of the respondents reported difficulties in maintaining adequate oral hygiene, largely due to financial limitations and technical issues (lack of water, power outages, or limited access to dental care). These findings highlight the urgent need for state and local programs aimed at supporting dental health during wartime and in the post-war recovery period. Additionally, the high level of knowledge regarding correct tooth-brushing techniques deserves attention, confirming the effectiveness of public health education campaigns in preventive dentistry. At the same time, the small proportion of respondents reporting superficial chewing of food and evening consumption of sweets indicates the need for further correction of behavioral aspects related to dietary hygiene.
