Annotation:

The article describes the main issues of introducing research activities of students into the educational process of higher medical institutions. It is proved that this process focuses on the formation and development of students' research skills and clinical thinking. It is proved that the clear organisation of research activities of students in the educational process contributes to the in-depth mastering of professional disciplines by students. Our work demonstrates that structured and organized research activities of students during the learning process contribute to a deeper mastery of the theoretical aspects of professional disciplines, help to maximally reveal personal potential, form one's own scientific worldview, and acquire important practical skills for future professional activities.
