Annotation:
This article examines the role of digital Internet resources in the educational process, with particular attention to subject study, the acquisition of practical skills, cognitive activity, and the motivation of higher education students, as well as the development of the personality of future doctors. The new generation of education standards requires the formation of information and computer competencies that enable the integration of innovative formats into traditional teaching practices, providing interactive support for the learning process and enhancing students’ communication skills in line with contemporary requirements. The aim of the article was to determine the impact of information and computer technologies and to assess the role of modern mobile devices in acquiring practical skills during practical classes, as well as to analyse the prospects for introducing mobile learning technologies into the teaching of specialised subjects at medical educational institutions. The findings indicate that respondents reinforce and improve their practical skills by watching videos on social networks, which contributes to more effective assimilation and retention of knowledge. Accordingly, new opportunities are emerging to strengthen the technical support of the educational process, particularly in relation to both theoretical and practical training, in order to ensure a high level of interactivity and personalisation of subject learning, and to increase student engagement in practical skills development. The effectiveness of training is enhanced by the variety of Internet resources and the opportunity to apply practical skills in real-world projects. The use of Internet resources raises the training of students to a qualitatively new level, extends the boundaries of the standard educational process, significantly expands learning opportunities, promotes the acquisition of new competences, and makes the learning process more engaging, thereby meeting present-day requirements and providing timely access to essential information.
