In our time, under the influence of the anthropogenic factor and the deterioration of the ecological situation on Earth, there is a significant decrease in biological diversity. The problem of preservation and rational use of natural biodiversity becomes one of the priorities for biologists, ecologists, and entomologists. The article is devoted to the study of entomological biodiversity, the current real state, the dynamics of numbers and species affiliation in pine biotopes. Taking into account the problem of the impoverishment of biodiversity in biocenoses, it is relevant and effective to monitor changes in the number and distribution of species, as well as to create a list of existing entomological biodiversity. The purpose of the study: to determine the state, structure and dominance of entomological species biodiversity of pine biotopes of Kyiv Polissia. Permanent monitoring points were selected for studies of entomological diversity. Common methods of entomofauna accounting and biotope classification were used. As a result of the conducted research (2021-2024), an annotated list was compiled, an analysis of the current state of the entomofauna of pine biotopes was carried out, and 162 species of insects from 32 families of 5 orders (phytophagous (dominant, omnivorous, specialized), entomophagous (predators, parasites), pollinators) were identified , inert species, etc.). Dominant in terms of families and species is the order of Coleoptera, which includes 116 species from 18 families, which is 67.7% of the total amount of studied entomological biodiversity.
