Among neurological diseases, stroke refers to medical problems leading to a high risk of disability; According to various authors, from 25 to 60% have post-stroke depression, 20.4% – post-stroke anxiety due to a decrease in the patient's participation in social life of patients with chronic stroke. This requires the development of new, patient-cen tric strategies with the help of modern methods rehabilitation. The aim of the study is to analyze modern information data on the effectiveness of the innovative method of virtual reality therapy in modern programs of ergotherapy of patients with chronic stroke. An analysis of modern scientific sources was conducted regarding the latest technolo gies in occupational therapy programs for patients with chronic stroke. During the literary review, such databases as Scopus, PubMed, MEDLINE, Google Schoolar were studied. Social contacts and social support saw the time of game therapy increase the level of motivation in rehabilitation. Numerous reviews on the implementation of gaming technologies in rehabilitation after a stroke have shown that, unlike traditional exercises, the virtual reality method provides multisensory feedback. The use of targeted training in virtual reality mode contributes to the development of visual motor control, attention, increases the level of independence in the daily life of patients with chronic stroke.
