The results of the analysis of postoperative dynamics of oral fluid biophysical indicators after dental implantation depending on the duration of the surgical intervention are presented. The study involved 67 patients aged 25-45 years (36 women, 53.7%, and 31 men, 46.7%), who underwent dental rehabilitation by means of manufacturing single crowns with the support of dental implants according to the delayed implantation protocol. In the postopera tive period, oral fluid was collected on days 3, 7, 10, 14 and 20 to determine pH of unstimulated oral fluid, the level of stimulated salivation, buffer capacity, and the level of natural salivation. The selected criteria were analyzed in groups of patients depending on the duration of the dental implantation: group 1 – mean duration 20.66±2.01 min, group 2 – mean duration 28.41±2.07 min. It was established that in the group of patients with a shorter duration of the surgical intervention, the signs of a stable return of oral fluid indicators to the initial level were observed until day 14. With a longer duration of the surgical intervention, in 18 patients (58%) the indicators still did not return to pre operative values even on day 20, although they were within normal limits. The dynamics of the selected indicators is indicative and clearly reflects the dependence of biophysical indicators of oral fluid on the duration of the surgical intervention as an injuring factor.
