The aim of this study was to determine the dynamics of mineral metabolism and bone metabolism (calcium, phosphate, magnesium, alkaline phosphatase) in the blood of patients with generalized periodontitis with normo - , hyper- and hyporeactivity after flap surgery. The clinic examined 216 people diagnosed with generalized periodontitis of II, III severity, who, depending on the state of body reactivity, were divided into three groups: normoreaction, hyperreaction and hyporeaction. Patients received comprehensive treatment of periodontitis. The results of biochemical blood tests assessed the state of mineral and bone metabolism. The content of total calcium, inorganic phosphate, magnesium (in mmol/L) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity (in U/L) was determined. The study of mineral metabolism and bone metabolism indicators in the blood of patients with generalized periodontitis with normal body reactivity after surgery showed activation of the bone formation process in the postoperative wound. In case of hyperreaction, the dynamics of calcium, phosphate, magnesium and alkaline phosphatase in the blood of patients with generalized periodontitis indicate the osteoblast activity depletion in the bone wound after the initial sharp rise. In hyporesponse cases, the studied parameters' dynamics after surgery indicate insufficient activity of osteoblasts in the bone wound.
