- By submitting an article for release, an author thereby agrees with the placement of its full text on Internet official sites of “Bulletin of problems in biology and medicine” (vpbim.com.ua).
- Articles are accepted in accordance with the fixed timeline:
- Issue 1 (issued in March) – untill 25 February of the current year;
- Issue 2 (issued in June) – untill 25 May of the current year;
- Issue 3 (issued in September) – untill 10 September of the current year;
- Issue 4 (issued in December) – untill 20 November of the current year.
In exceptional circumstances, as agreed upon with editorial office, the term of acceptance of an article for the next issue can be extended, but not longer than for three weeks.
- The editorial board reviews the received articles for up to five months.
- The editorial board has the right to send the article for additional review.
- The editorial board has the right to conduct scientific and literary editing of the received materials, if necessary, to reduce them in agreement with the author or, if the article’s subject is of interest to the journal, to send the article for revision to the author.
- The editorial board reserves the right to reject an article that does not meet the established requirements or the journal’s subject matter.
- If the received article is rejected, the editorial board provides the author with a reasoned explanation (decision of the editorial board).
- The authors receive a notification of the accepted article within seven days. Information on the review results and the publication plan is provided within five months of the article’s registration.
