INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS OF JOURNAL “BULLETIN OF PROBLEMS IN BIOLOGY AND MEDICINE”
The journal has been re-registered and included in the list of printed periodicals included in the list of scientific professional publications of Ukraine (Category B), which can publish the results of dissertations for the degree of Doctor, Candidate of Sciences and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of knowledge 22 Healthcare, specialities 221 Dentistry, 222 Medicine, 228 Paediatrics, 09 Biology, speciality 091 Biology and Biochemistry.
Included in scientometric databases World Cat, Crossref (DOI), DOAJ, Google Scolar, Ulrichsweb, Journals Pedia, Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, ADL. Hosted on the online Index Copernicus database.
The journal publishes scientific works in all fields of modern clinical and experimental medicine, as well as dedicated to fundamental problems of biology, stomatology, biochemistry, physiology, biotechnology, ecology and valeology.
In connection with the decision of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine dated 15.01.2003 .. № 7-05 / 1 “On raising the requirements for professional publications, entered in the list of HAC of Ukraine” in scientific articles must be such necessary elements: problem in general and its connection with important scientific and practical tasks (state registration number) analysis of recent research and publications in which a solution of this problem and to which the author refers to, the selection of the unsolved aspects of the problem, which the article is focused; formulation of the purposes of article (problem); presentation of the main research material with full justification of scientific results; conclusions of this study and the prospects for further research in this direction. The journal uses the Imrad structure when writing scientific articles.

The volume of original and review articles is 8-25 pages of text, including a list of references, tables, graphs, and abstracts.
The text and tables of the article must be typed only on a computer (Word 6.0; 7.0 or Word 97, Times New Roman font, 14 points. Tables, graphs, and microphotographs (black and white mandatory for morphological works – 9×12 cm) are placed on the pages of the article, including the presentation of the material, or are arranged on one page. Graphs and histograms (black and white) are placed along the text or on a separate sheet. Do not number the pages.
Scientific articles that contain the following necessary elements are accepted for publication:
- UDC
- Title of the article
- Surnames and initials of authors
- Name of the institution and city
- Short abstract of the article
- Name and state registration number of the scientific topic.
- Introduction: statement of the problem in a general form; analysis of the latest (for ten years) research and publications in which the solution of this problem was initiated and on which the author relies; state registration number; identification of previously unresolved parts of the overall problem.
- The aim of the research (statement of the task).
- Object and research methods.
- Research results and their discussion.
- Conclusions
- Prospects for further research.
- The list of references is presented in the order of mention, transliterated, according to the requirements of the Vancouver style. Numbers in square brackets indicate references in the text.
- Abstracts in Ukrainian and English – at least 1,800 characters without spaces, including key words.
- Surname and first name of authors in Latin, ORCID numbers of each author, and their contribution to the article
- Correspondence address
- At the end of the article, the author must indicate information about the absence of a conflict of interest.
More detailed information on the design of articles is in the “Structure of the Paper and Manuscript Submission Guidelines”.
The text is printed with 1.5 line spacing, on white A4 paper, the height of lowercase letters at least 3 mm. At the beginning of the left UDC is printed, then the next line the surname and initials of the authors, in the next line – name of the article. With the new line is printed the name of the institution, city. On paragraph (5 characters) – text of the article. Margins: 2.5 cm left,right; top and bottom 3.0 cm.
The journal is reviewing all articles on plagiarism.
Articles that have not been validated are not allowed to be printed.
Payment for article publication is calculated as follows:
110 UAH per manuscript page;
300 UAH for mandatory DOI assignment.
Ordering a printed copy (if required) must be done in advance. The cost is 800 UAH.
