In this work were studied levels of interleukin 1β, 2, 6 (IL1β, IL 2, IL 6) in oral fluid of patients who underwent dental implant (DI) without obvious complications. We conducted a clinical and laboratory examination of 50 persons who had indications to the DI. Collecting saliva was held before the implantation and one month after surgery. The control group consisted of 20 healthy individuals. Determination of interleukin was conducted using a set of reagents the company «Vector Best», Russia. Parametric data are presented as M ± m, because the distribution of data was normal in groups, pairs posteriori comparison groups was performed by means of criterion- Newman Keylsa using the software package STATISTICA 6.0 (StatSoft, USA). In both groups showed a strong increase in relative indicators IL1β to control: in both groups showed a strong increase in relative indicators IL1β to control: In both groups showed a strong increase in relative indicators IL1β to control: a group prior to the DI in 92 times, and in the group after implantation in 72. After the DI IL1β content slightly decreased (1.3 times) relative to the level of surgery. Interleukin-1β is a proinflammatory cytokine synthesis which begins in response to the penetration of pathogenic or tissue damage. It is necessary for the development of inflammation and run defense reactions, namely acute phase response. IL-1β is produced by mononuclear phagocytes it affects immunoregulatory processes and stimulates the process of hematopoiesis. A significant growth of IL-1β in the oral fluid of surveyed persons before the dental implant, shows the activation of cells in inflammation focus, which arose due to the presence of periodontal disease. Increased synthesis of IL-1β promotes mobility of neutrophils, stimulates phagocytosis, thus contributing to the development of exudative and proliferative phases inflammatory response that causes starting of immune response. The level of IL-2 in oral fluid of studied patients also increased relative to performance standards. Prior to the implanting it increased 45 times and after implantation 36 times. Comparing the content of this cytokine after the operation with content before the surgical intervention we found a decrease its concentration in 1.2 times. L-2 stimulates the cellular immune response is involved in immune defense and antitumor reactivity activates monocytes and macrophages, which increase the secretion of TNFα, IL-6, IL-8. The content of IL-6 in the oral fluid of persons in the group prior to the DI increased by 4 times compared with the control group. After surgical intervention levels of this interleukin increased 3.8 times compared with the index norms and almost unchanged compared to the level prior to the implant. IL-6 – is synthesized by mononuclear phagocytes, fibroblasts, lymphocytes, endotheliocytes. As IL-1 and TNFα it belongs to the powerful pro-inflammatory cytokines, but later is synthesized inhibits their products and completes the development of inflammation. Persons who have been recommended DI partial loss of teeth due to caries, periodontal diseases or other diseases of the teeth-jaw system. A statistically significant increase in levels of interleukin 1β, 2 and 6 in the oral fluid of patients indicates the presence of inflammation. One month after implantation was observed a significant reduction in oral fluid concentrations of IL-1β and IL-2 and the tendency to reduction of IL-6. Such dynamics of oral fluid cytokine profile indicates a decrease in the intensity of inflammation in the oral cavity. Dental implantation reduces the intensity of inflammation in the mouth about what indicates decrease levels of IL-1β, IL-2 and IL-6. One of the most important and promising areas of modern dentistry is replacing defects of dentition with implants that have a positive impact on the state of non-specific reactivity of the oral mucosa.
