Annotation:
Modern society characterized by a large flow of information and the introduction of innovations in various spheres of activity, which requires a person not only to have a certain amount of knowledge and professional skills, but also to possess digital literacy - communicative, computer, and informational. The education system should ensure the development of digital competencies and digital socialization of students. This work examines the possibilities of using information and digital technologies in relation to the course of chemistry in medical universities. The formation and improvement of digital competences will contribute not only to the mastering of fundamental knowledge, but also to their application in solving future professional tasks. The authors point out that the digitalization of education and the use of digital technologies contribute to the modernization and development of education, the improvement of the quality of training of future specialists and their adaptation in the labor market, the convergence of education with science, the compliance of the education system with the requirements of the digital economy and digital society. The use of new digital technologies is an actual area of further scientific research.
