The issue of predicting long-term outcomes in patients with acute coronary syndrome is open. The aim of our study was to improve the prediction of post-hospital outcomes in patients with non-ST-elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE-ACS) by determining glycation end products (AGEs), ischemic albumin (IA), free DNA (fDNA). One hundred twenty-one patients hospitalized with NSTE-ACS in the first 3 days from the onset of anginal pain were examined. Patients with decompensation of chronic diseases, moderate and severe anemia, severe chronic renal failure were omitted. The number of men and women was approximately the same (63 patients vs 58 patients). The average age was 68 [59;77] years. The patients underwent a standard examination (physical examination, laboratory and instrumental studies) and determined IMA, fDNA, and AGEs on the 1st day and the 6th day of hospitalization. Information on post-hospital clinical events was collected during face-to-face and telephone visits and using electronic medical records. For the statistical analysis of the results, in addition to descriptive statistics, ROC analysis was used to calculate the AUC, its confidence interval, the sensitivity and specificity of the test, and the odds ratio. The results were considered statistically significant at p<0.05. An increase in AGEs during hospitalization for NSTEACS can be used to predict the occurrence of a de novo arrhythmia episode after hospitalization. Determination of fDNA and IA at the hospital stage can be used to predict the risk of myocardial infarction in patients who have undergone NSTE-ACS. Determining additional biochemical markers (AGEs, IA, fDNA) provides information on delayed clinical outcomes in patients who have undergone NSTE-ACS.
