The aim of this study was to assess the effect of regular physical activity under futsal conditions on the level of adaptive strain of the body in 13-14-year-old female athletes who are in the V critical period of immune system development, compared with their non-athlete peers. The study involved two groups of girls (n=15 futsal players, n=15 non-futsal players). The level of adaptive strain was assessed using the Adaptation Index (AI), calculated based on the ratio of the relative number of lymphocytes to segmented neutrophilic granulocytes in peripheral blood. Statistical data processing was performed using Student’s t-test (p<0.05). It was found that the mean AI value in futsal players (0.51±0.11) was only 4.08% higher than in the control group (0.49±0.08, p>0.05), corresponding to the Zone of Calm Activation. At the same time, the group of futsal players showed a significant increase in the absolute and relative numbers of band neutrophilic granulocytes (by 44.44% and 57.32%, respectively, p<0.05), which is interpreted as mobilization of the bone marrow reserve. Individual adaptation distribution showed that 6.67% of the athletes were in the Zone of Increased Activation (versus 0% in the control group), indicating an effective compensatory-adaptive response. Regular physical activity under futsal conditions during the V critical period of immunogenesis optimizes adaptive processes by stimulating the mobilization of protective reserves in the bodies of young athletes without signs of maladaptive stress.
