In most cases, the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus in children is mild. However, some pediatric patients develop multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C). According to most observations, MIS-C in children usually occurs 2-6 weeks after coronavirus disease and is characterized by clinical and laboratory evidence of multiorgan inflammation. As per the recommendations of the World Health Organization, multisystemic inflammatory syndrome includes cases observed in children aged 0-19 years with fever lasting more than 3 days and with 2 manifestations of the following: rash or bilateral non-purulent conjunctivitis or signs of inflammation from the side of skin and mucous membranes (mouth, limbs); hypotension or shock; signs of myocardial dysfunction, pericarditis, valvulitis or coronary abnormalities (including echocardiography or elevated troponin / natriuretic peptide B); coagulopathy (prothrombin index, partial thromboplastin time and elevated D-dimer); acute symptoms of gastrointestinal lesions symptoms. The aim of the study was to analyze the clinical and laboratory features and treatment of MIS-C associated with SARS-CoV-2, on the example of our own observation of a clinical case in school-age girl. We observed the gradual development of MIS-C in a child with asymptomatic coronavirus infection. The onset of the disease was characterized by nonspecific symptoms resembling the clinic of a respiratory infection. In general, there were early manifestations of SARS-CoV-2-associated MIS-C in the form of severe fever, skin and mucosal lesions, multiorgan lesions (lung, heart, polyserositis, arthralgia), laboratory signs that are nonspecific markers of inflammation and coagulopathy. The child had 3 criteria out of 5 possible. The peculiarity of the presented clinical case, in our opinion, is the fact that the therapy carried out in accordance with international recommendations had a positive result, the disease completely regressed and did not cause delayed complications.
